Critter Cove

Gentleman Rat, January 2022 - September 2023

As a content designer on this scrappy seafaring life-sim, I was responsible for filling the game's open world with quests, puzzles, treasures, and characters. I owned the design and story for the game's Enchanted biome, created dozens of AI behaviors, and wrote or edited nearly every line of dialogue in the game.

Radical Owl, February 2023 - Present

This F2P web / mobile game recently launched my a significant mechanical overhaul that improves balance, onboarding, and engagement. I worked closely with a freelance engineer to design, iterate, and implement this overhaul, from brainstorm to balancing and even original VFX.

Rubberside Down, September 2021 - August 2022

I was brought on to overhaul the UI of this mobile app for LTL truckers. I handled design, asset creation, implementation, animation, and testing of the entire app's interface, as well as creating a logo and branding materials for both print and digital use.

555 Comics, August 2021 - February 2022

This Twitter-based boy's love comic with a fantasy twist was written entirely by me, including live in-character responses. Social media was new to me, but I adapted well - the comic's main account amassed 10,000 followers in 4 months.

I was brought on briefly as a character writer for this indie darling after its wildly successful kickstarter. The entire dialogue suites (excluding first cutscenes) of Pablo, Eva, Macy, and Dippa are my work.

As part of a 7-person writing team, I contributed scripts, storylines, worldbuilding, and even a narrative documentation overhaul to this lighthearted mobile RPG.
