Critter Cove Barks & Items

This spreadsheet contains dialogue lines and flavor text I created for Critter Cove, exactly as I wrote them in development. They have a goofy, humorous tilt, but I worked hard to convey the depth of the world alongside the silliness.

EMPTY

A horror sample written to demonstrate my aptitude with the genre, EMPTY summarizes gameplay and cinematics from the opening sequence of a theoretical game about the long-term effects of depression and avoidance on a relationship.

Asteria Codex

This sample contains three prose discoveries and one bestiary entry for the interactive Discord bot Asteria RPG. They were written to provide interesting, engaging worldbuilding and ease the player into the world of Asteria.

BLurry Episode 1

This document is a trimmed transcript of the first episodic arc of the Twitter webcomic BLurry, which I wrote with 555 Comics.

You can see the entire comic with illustrations on Twitter, at least for as long as that hangs around.

Ekphrasia Teaser

This Twine 'teaser' was created as a proof of concept for a longer interactive story by the same name. In Ekphrasia, you play as a hopeless twenty-something who starts seeing the central subject of her childhood dreams manifest before her.

Trigger Warning: Derealization, hallucination, suicide mention.

Keaton Bond Story

This script was written for Puzzle Legends, a narrative-heavy mobile gacha RPG that emphasized the bonds people share. Part of this was done through Bond Stories, sidequests where the protagonist deepened her friendship with one of the many heroes of the game - in this case, Keaton, the Queen’s young but stern bodyguard.

Song of Rebellion

This quest was originally created for my ongoing TTRPG campaign, Veiled River. I have since adapted it into a sample for an open-world RPG like The Witcher or Cyberpunk 2077. It's presented as part of a longer quest line, but it stands alone well.
